Lectures on The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Christianity began as a resurrection movement. We know of no form of earliest Christianity in which the resurrection was not a central conviction but merely an appendix. The resurrection was the central driving force of Christianity, shaping the whole movement. In particular, woven into the very fabric of the earliest Christian theology we possess is the conviction that the resurrection had actually happened, and that the followers of Jesus had to reorder their lives, their stories, their symbols, and their practice accordingly. In this book we will look at the resurrection of Jesus with a different and deeper eye.
