In the last part of his outstanding series on the pioneer missionary Henry Martyn, Issa Dibaj looks at the fascinating period when the genius Englishman was in Iran. This was when Martyn made sure that he had learned Persian very well. He settled in Shiraz where he finished his translation of the New Testament. He then tried to return home, but dies all alone in Turkey at the age of 31.
